Does this sound like your hip?
You notice it getting out of the car. Then it's the socks... Then you're sleeping on your back because your side won't take it anymore. You can still walk, still golf, still keep up with the grandkids. You just pay for it that night.
Or you've done the physical therapy, the cortisone, the anti-inflammatories, and you're back where you started.
Here's how hip pain tends to show up, by where you feel it:
Groin or front of the hip
-
Aching with walking or stairs
-
Stiffness after sitting or first thing in the morning
-
Pain getting in and out of a car or standing from a low chair
-
A catch, click, or pinch when you bring your knee up
Outer hip and thigh
-
Pain lying on that side at night
-
Soreness that builds with walking
-
A sore spot you can press with your thumb
Buttock
-
Deep ache that comes and goes
-
Pain that travels down the back of the leg
-
Worse after long sitting
Anywhere
-
A limp you've stopped noticing (other people haven't)
-
Pain that keeps coming back
What may be causing your hip pain?
Hip osteoarthritis
The cartilage in the joint wears down over time. It usually shows up as groin pain and stiffness, and it can send pain into the thigh or even the knee.
Labral tears and impingement
The labrum is a rim of cartilage around the hip socket. A tear or impingement often feels like a deep pinch or a catch when you flex the hip.
Bursitis and gluteal tendon problems
Outer hip pain is very often tendon or bursa trouble, and plenty of people spend years assuming they have hip arthritis when they don't.
Pain that starts in your back
A pinched nerve, a disc, or the SI joint can all feel like hip pain. If the back is the source, treating the hip does nothing. This is why we examine before we inject.
Wear from an active life
Running, sports, physical work, an old injury. It adds up.
Problems that need a surgeon
Fractures, advanced joint destruction, significant deformity, and conditions like avascular necrosis need orthopedic care. We'll send you there.

Where does regenerative medicine fit?
If you've already tried rest, physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medications, cortisone, or other conservative treatments, you may be wondering what comes next.
For some patients, regenerative medicine may be an option worth exploring.
Regenerative treatments use biologic therapies as part of an effort to support the biological environment within and around injured or degenerative tissue.
But there's an important distinction: Regenerative medicine isn't one treatment.
PRP isn't the same as an exosome product. Exosomes aren't stem cells. Cellular products aren't all the same.
And the right approach depends on what we're actually treating.
The question isn't “Which injection should I get?”
It's “What's causing my pain, and what treatment makes sense for it?”

WHY NEOWELL REGEN
We don't have one hip injection.
We have treatment options.
At NeoWell Regen, we have access to several regenerative products and protocols. What we recommend depends on the condition we're treating, the degree of degeneration, your previous treatment history, overall health, and your goals.
That may include different biologic or cellular approaches depending on your individual case.
And sometimes our recommendation is not to treat you.
If your hip appears too structurally compromised, your condition falls outside what we believe regenerative treatment can reasonably address, or we believe you need a different type of specialist, we'll tell you.
Because the goal isn't to sell you an injection.
The goal is to help you make a better decision about your hip.
What treatment actually looks like
It starts with a conversation, not an injection.
1
We understand the problem
We talk through your symptoms, diagnosis, previous treatments, imaging when available, health history, and importantly, what your knee is keeping you from doing.
2
We determine candidacy
Not every patient is a regenerative medicine candidate. We look at the type and extent of joint damage and whether we believe treatment is reasonable for your particular situation.
3
We build your treatment plan
If you're a candidate, we'll explain what we're recommending, what is being used, why we've selected it, the treatment sequence, cost, and what you can realistically expect.
4
We follow your progress
Regenerative treatment isn't an overnight fix. Response occurs over time, and we follow your progress rather than treating the injection as the end of the relationship.

Do I have to get a hip replacement?
Maybe not.
Hip replacement is one of the most successful operations there is, and if your hip is badly damaged it may be the best thing for you. We'll tell you if we think so.
Plenty of people with degenerative hip pain still have enough joint left that a non-surgical option deserves a try first.
Surgical or specialist evaluation may make more sense when:
The joint is bone-on-bone or advanced
There's a fracture, deformity, or structural damage
The pain is really a nerve or spine problem
You have any of the urgent symptoms listed above
COMMON QUESTIONS
The question everyone asks
START HERE
Before you decide what to do with your hip, understand it.
You don't need another person promising you that one treatment fixes everything.
You need to know what your options are, which ones make sense for your hip, and what you can realistically expect.
That's what the consultation is for.
