neck pain

Does this sound like your neck?

Maybe it started after a car accident, and it never fully went away. Maybe it's from years at a desk, and you've stopped noticing you're holding your shoulders up around your ears. Maybe you can turn your head, but not without thinking about it first. Or the ache turns into a headache by the end of the day.

Neck pain commonly shows up as:

  • Pain when holding your head in one position for too long

  • Limited range of motion or difficulty turning your head

  • Muscle tightness, stiffness, or spasms

  • Headaches or tension that start at the base of the skull

  • Cracking or popping with movement

  • Numbness or pain radiating into the shoulder, arm, or hand

  • Pain that keeps returning despite rest, ice, or previous treatment

The symptom matters. But what's causing it matters more.

What may be causing your neck pain?

Muscle strain

Overuse, poor posture, or a sudden movement can strain the muscles supporting your neck, leading to tightness and pain that can linger longer than expected.

Whiplash

A sudden jerking motion, often from a car accident, can injure the soft tissue in your neck; sometimes with symptoms that don't show up until days later.

Cervical arthritis

As the joints in your cervical spine change over time, stiffness, reduced mobility, and pain can become more noticeable.

Disc degeneration

The discs cushioning your cervical spine can wear down over time, sometimes without a single clear cause.

Pinched nerve or disc herniation

When a disc presses on a nearby nerve, it can cause shooting pain, tingling, or weakness that travels down into your arm or hand.

Chronic muscle tension

Postural strain and repetitive movement can create ongoing tightness and trigger points that don't resolve on their own.

Structural injury

Significant instability, fracture, or nerve compression may require orthopedic, neurosurgical, or emergency evaluation, not a regenerative medicine clinic.

Where does regenerative medicine fit?

If you've already tried rest, physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medications, cortisone, or other conservative treatments, you may be wondering what comes next.

For some patients, regenerative medicine may be an option worth exploring.

Regenerative treatments use biologic therapies as part of an effort to support the biological environment within and around injured or degenerative tissue.

But there's an important distinction: Regenerative medicine isn't one treatment.

PRP isn't the same as an exosome product. Exosomes aren't stem cells. Cellular products aren't all the same.

And the right approach depends on what we're actually treating.

The question isn't “Which injection should I get?”

It's “What's causing my pain, and what treatment makes sense for it?”

WHY NEOWELL REGEN

We don't have one neck injection.

We have treatment options.

At NeoWell Regen, we have access to several regenerative products and protocols. What we recommend depends on the condition we're treating, the degree of degeneration, your previous treatment history, overall health, and your goals.

That may include different biologic or cellular approaches depending on your individual case.

And sometimes our recommendation is not to treat you.

If your neck appears too structurally compromised, your condition falls outside what we believe regenerative treatment can reasonably address, or we believe you need a different type of specialist, we'll tell you.

Because the goal isn't to sell you an injection.

The goal is to help you make a better decision about your neck.

REAL PATIENT STORY

“After one treatment, I was pain free.”

“I had degenerative disc problems in my neck, and the pain had gotten into my shoulder. We originally planned on doing two treatments, but after my first injection, I was pain free. I never even needed the second one. I’m just so thankful to be feeling good again.”

What treatment actually looks like

It starts with a conversation, not an injection.

1

We understand the problem

We talk through your symptoms, diagnosis, previous treatments, imaging when available, health history, and importantly, what your knee is keeping you from doing.

2

We determine candidacy

Not every patient is a regenerative medicine candidate. We look at the type and extent of joint damage and whether we believe treatment is reasonable for your particular situation.

3

We build your treatment plan

If you're a candidate, we'll explain what we're recommending, what is being used, why we've selected it, the treatment sequence, cost, and what you can realistically expect.

4

We follow your progress

Regenerative treatment isn't an overnight fix. Response occurs over time, and we follow your progress rather than treating the injection as the end of the relationship.

Do I have to consider surgery?

Not necessarily. But we also won't tell you regenerative medicine can replace every surgical case, because it can't.

Regenerative treatment may be worth exploring when:

Your neck pain is related to arthritis, disc degeneration, or chronic strain

Conservative treatments haven't given you enough relief

There's no significant instability or structural damage

You're looking for non-surgical options

You want to understand your options before committing to a more invasive path

Surgical or specialist evaluation may make more sense when:

There's significant nerve compression with progressive weakness or numbness

Imaging shows spinal instability

A structural problem requires surgical correction

Symptoms include the red-flag signs listed above

The question everyone asks

Before you decide what to do with your neck, understand it.

You don't need another person promising you that one treatment fixes everything.

You need to know what your options are, which ones make sense for your neck, and what you can realistically expect.
